Where to put a Party Gazebo?
So you have bought your pop up gazebo and you want to have a party. Not huge, not too swanky, just a friendly get together for lots of friends. The gazebo will serve as a nice little shelter for food and drink in the midst of the festivities.
If you have a garden and it is big enough, you are good to go. What are you waiting for? Pop up the gazebo, send out the invites and get in the supplies.
But what if you don’t have any space? Where are the inexpensive patches of land to rent that will serve as a venue for your party?
The answer, sadly, is that there aren’t many. Fully fledged party and wedding venues don’t come cheap. Few charge less than £1000 to hire for an event unless catering is part of the package. And most parks and public spaces are quite strict about what you are allowed to do there. Schools, sports grounds and village halls are the best bet, but only if they do allow parties to take place within their grounds. Many don’t! And even then, hire is unlikely to be less than £250 for an evening. There are, after all, costs involved in providing land for an event.
If you live in the South East, County Marquees has a marquee venues map that has details on 250 marquee venues that can be filtered by price to find the cheapest venues.
Otherwise, you will simply need to scour your local area for good cheap party locations. And be lucky.
